Five stages, one year apart, each with its own job to do.
Pick the stage closest to your child’s age. Each one has a different centre of gravity: settling in, then curiosity, then letters, then reading, then the leap into Class I.
Toddler · 1 to 2 years
First steps away from home, taken slowly and with a familiar hand nearby.
The toddler years are a time of exploration, discovery and rapid development. Our nurturing educators help children settle into a structured environment where they build confidence, develop social skills, and learn the values of sharing, caring and becoming independent. Through stories, rhymes, music, sensory play and hands on activities, children strengthen their language, cognitive, fine and gross motor skills.

Learning beyond walls.
The classroom is only the beginning. Each week a class rotates through purpose built spaces: a puppet theatre, a music wall, a sandpit and a miniature town where the learning is indistinguishable from the playing.

Kinesthetic learning

Children learn through movement, physical activity and purposeful play. Our play areas are equipped with international standard equipment chosen for physical development: sliding, swinging, climbing, balancing, hopscotch and more. Gross motor skills get stronger; so do cooperation, problem solving and perseverance.
Outdoor play is also where teamwork and fair play are learned firsthand. No wonder the Annual Sports Day is the most sought-after event on the school calendar.

03Field trips
Learning beyond the classroom.
Field trips are part of the curriculum, not an extra. Children visit farms, a post office, a science centre, a fire station, a supermarket, a tea factory, a bakery and places of worship, building observation, communication and social skills, and an awareness of the place they actually live in.

We place great emphasis on a fully secure campus where parents are assured of their child’s safety. All rooms and corridors are under CCTV surveillance, and we run regular good touch and bad touch sessions that build self awareness and personal safety through storytelling and role play.

Children join Munchkins, our toddler programme, from one year of age. The wing then runs through Playgroup, Nursery, LKG and UKG until age six, after which children move into Class I at Sri Sri Academy.
All three Siliguri branches admit early years children: Sevoke Road, Khalpara and Dagapur. You can name a preferred branch in the enquiry form, and our team will confirm current availability at that campus.
Junior Sri Sri Academy is the early years wing of the same institution, so children progress into Class I at Sri Sri Academy as part of one continuous journey rather than applying to an unfamiliar school.
No. Admission at this stage begins with a warm interaction between the child, the parents and our early years team, so we can understand how your child settles, plays and communicates.
The birth certificate, recent photographs of the child, parent identity proof and, where the child has attended a previous school, a transfer or leaving certificate. Our team will confirm the full list when they call you.
English is the medium of instruction. From Nursery, children are introduced to a second language and may choose Hindi, Nepali or Bengali.
